I came to web development through a long strange path. I was an illustrator and designer. I also had a lot of computer experience relative to my involvement with the early generations and later gens of high end imaging work stations. I was hired by Quark to do interface design work between Scitex Workstations and Quark V3. About that time I started to be asked to do basic web design for very early web sites (early 90's here). The progression was natural and over time. By 1999 I was doing full blown java, php and even Windows VC++ application designs and programming for clients as diverse as HP and west coast development companies.
